Bead Weaving

I am fascinated by beads in all their myriad shapes, sizes and colours. It is believed that one of the first applications of glassmaking was in the manufacture of beads!

My Jewellery is inspired by many things, my favourite is to reflect the colours of the sea in a beautiful freestyle necklace, or the heathers on our wonderful coast paths.

However, I think the beads themselves inspire me, sometimes a piece of Jewellery will start off with a well planned design and end up totally different because I start to wonder how it would look if only I put that bead there or this bead here, but that is what I enjoy about bead weaving – it’s an adventure!
