Books & Shippo Cards by Jonathan Shipton

 JONATHAN SHIPTON is a children's writer, poet and card maker.   He lives in a three hundred year old farmhouse in Carmarthenshire with his partner Viv, daughter Katie, 3 cats, 16 fat hens, 2 noisy cockerels and at least one very cunning mouse (who I think lives somewhere behind the fridge). He has five grown up children and one grandson. His most recent book is Lucky Duck which is published by Macmillan.

     

 

       

 

  "When I'm not writing children's books or working as a gardener. I love to make cards. I draw the designs by hand & then scan on to my computer.  I print them out three or four at a time according to demand. Then I bribe my daugher to fold them & pack theminto cellophane bags.  Shippo cards are unique in using only high quality recycled card & envelopes.

This is a selection.  I do pigs, frogs, turkeys, penguins, chickens, mice, dragons and potatoes. I've got nearly a hundred different designs. All the cards are printed on recycled card. I sell them in local craft shops and bookshops.  I was hoping to sell on the internet but haven't worked out how to do it yet! "
