Andrew lives and works in the Towy valley, West Wales.
Andrew's paintings are inspired and influenced very much by the landscapes and wildlife surrounding him in Wales with its particular atmospheric conditions.
Andrew is a self taught artist who has now been painting professionally for the past 17 years. Before deciding to follow his passion Andrew worked in the construction and mining industry, driving plant.
Andrew attended a private viewing at a group exhibition which included some of the UK's top wildlife artists in Cheltenham in 1994 and it was this event which really gave Andrew the inspiration and desire to start painting.
'I like to push the boundary's and challenge myself painting different subject matter, but ultimately its is the landscape where I live that drives my creativity, I am truly blessed that I can indulge myself In a vocation that has become a way of life, I have burnt my bridges ,the landscape and the canvas now have me!!'

Since turning professional Andrew has successfully built up a large International following and is enjoying the reality of exhibiting both here in the UK and has galleries and collectors in the USA also.
Andrew shares his passion for painting by offering private tuition sessions in his Studio and also over the last six or seven years has consistently demonstrated to Art clubs and societies around the South Wales area.
